Authority is not tested when things are stable. It is tested when visibility increases.
I help leaders install authority that holds under pressure,
when decisions are visible, interpreted, and no longer neutral.
A Structural Approach to Authority
Authority by Design is a 4–6 month engagement designed to install authority structurally, across all four layers of the Authority Calibration Model™ — Identity, Position, Context, and Signal.
It is the appropriate engagement when drift has become structural and reflects a wider transition: a step up in role, a repositioning, an increase in pricing, or a sustained shift in exposure.
At this stage, authority is no longer assumed.
It is read, tested, and interpreted — repeatedly, and often publicly.
When exposure grows, inconsistency becomes costly.
Decisions are questioned.
Presence requires constant recalibration.
Representation demands continuous control.
The same level of expertise no longer produces the same level of authority.
The Four Phases
Authority by Design unfolds in four strategic phases.
1. Positioning & Authority Reading
A precise reading of where authority currently stands, not where it is assumed to be.
This phase identifies: how authority is interpreted today, where friction, ambiguity, or dilution occurs, what must be clarified before design begins.
2. Authority Design
Once authority is clearly read, it is deliberately designed.
This phase structures: image and visual coherence, presence and spatial authority, language, tone, and hierarchy, the visible markers of leadership.
3. Execution Under Visibility
Authority is tested when decisions are made publicly.
This phase focuses on: consistency across moments of exposure, alignment between role and representation, decision-making under scrutiny.
4. Authority Installation
The final phase ensures that authority no longer requires effort to maintain.
This is where: coherence becomes instinctive,
presence holds without correction, authority stabilises across time and context.
What Authority By Design is, and is not
a structural installation
a long-term authority framework
designed for founders, executives, partners, and senior experts whose level has shifted and whose external signals must now be redesigned to match
a personal development journey
a visibility or content strategy
a short-term preparation for a single event
If authority needs to be prepared for a specific moment, Stage Ready is the appropriate engagement.
